We had a wonderful stay at this hotel. The staff were friendly and welcoming, offering us delicious lunch upon arrival. Our self-catering accommodation was the best we have ever stayed in - sparkling clean, well-equipped, and very comfortable. The hotel facilities were ample, including a lookout point with a spectacular view. We enjoyed joining the other guests for sundowners at the Gemsbok Lapa, where the staff were professional and knowledgeable. Dinner was beautiful in a well-appointed dining room. the cleanliness, hotel facilities, location, and friendly staff made our stay fantastic.

The Mountain Suites provided the perfect escape for a peaceful and private getaway. I felt completely relaxed and one with nature in this tranquil setting.

Personally, I found the recently renovated Manor House suites to be a bit too main building-like for my taste.

I got great value for my money at Naries Namakwa Retreat! The room was cozy and comfortable with lovely linen. The location was perfect for exploring nearby towns. The staff treated me like royalty, making my stay even more enjoyable.

The breakfast could have been improved with a wider variety of options.

The self-catering cottage was mind-blowing! Spacious, comfortable, and felt like our own home. Daily service, indoor and outdoor braai, and stunning sunset views. We enjoyed long hikes, had a lovely cat companion, and the staff was super friendly and helpful. Privacy, excellent breakfasts and dinners, bird-watching at breakfast, and pleasant trails nearby. A warm and welcoming retreat after a long day.

Exceptional welcome. Spacious chalet with indoor/outdoor braai. Well-equipped and clean. Well-marked hiking trails. No nearby shop for shopping, plan ahead.

The food was absolutely outstanding!! The staff were super professional and friendly. Everything was done really well. The trip to Port Nolloth was mind-blowing with the ever-changing landscape and the museum and collection of stories provided by George's daughter were jaw-droppingly entertaining and interesting. The suites in the veld were top-notch, with nice rooms and great linen. The dinner was delicious. The ample breakfast was deliciously presented and catered for all tastes with good service. The self-catering cottages were clean, comfortable, and spacious with attention to detail and quality, ideal for sharing with friends or family. The location was only 27kms away from Springbok, making it convenient. The property had many spectacular viewing sites, a resident guide, abundant birdlife, plantlife, and walking trails making it an ideal retreat for nature lovers. this was the highlight of our trip!

The location of the retreat is stunning with beautiful trails and an amazing view from the lookout point. the self, catering unit was sparkling clean and well, equipped with all the necessary amenities.
